Why Wait Until January 1st
January 1st, that's the time we usually tell our friends and family "happy new year." It's also the time we seriously start thinking about our goals and what we want to achieve and then create a blueprint to get these goals. Lucky for some, those goals made on the 1st of January will be achieved later down in the year after hard work and dedication.
For most people, they will slip into old habits and the desire to achieve these goals made on the first of Januar will become weaker because when it comes to this time of the year you had better be closer to the goals and if not, try again next year. Am I right? Yes, I think I am. A lot of persons feel this way but it doesn't have to be this way. I too made big plans on January 1st. I was so motivated and by February my drive, my passion, my determination started to die with every goal due date that I missed. My lucky year didn't seem so lucky after all and so I wanted to throw my hands in the air and give up and just wait until the new year to start again with a clean slate.
That's not the right attitude. I cant just roll over and play dead every time something doesn't go as plan. If you are feeling defeated and you have all these goals you want to achieve but you don't know how to achieve them here's my advice...
STOP, take a second and breath.
Revisit your list of goals, crush that up and create a new more attainable list for the rest of the year. Lastly, start exactly where you are and work towards those goals. Celebrate every single win as you go along.
