5 Tips for the perfect cover letter
Boy do I hate writing cover letters! ( Just look how short this post is ) I am sure most of you would say the same but employers on the other hand consider cover letters to be the most important part of your application. What you should know is that cover letters don't need to be long. A simple page with a maximum of four paragraphs is sufficient. The main role of the the cover letter is to make sure your resume or CV gets read. Let’s look at 5 tips that will help you to write a good cover letter.
Identify the keywords used by the employer. Keywords are simply the main skills or characteristics that the employer is looking for. Make sure to mention these keywords in the cover letter and why you are the best person for the job.
Don’t repeat all the things you already have in your resume. Remember the cover letter should only be about 4 paragraphs at maximum

Don’t be afraid to brag about your skills and experiences. Ummm hello! How else would these people know what you are capable of? You have to tell them why you are the one they need in their organization. Brag about yourself!
Proofread your cover letter. So you’ve finished writing the cover letter, great! Now let someone proofread it for you.
Finish Strong. Make sure the final sentences of your cover letter is meaningful. You can end your cover letter saying something like “I am very excited to learn more about this company and share how I will be a great fit to your organization.” or “ I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how my qualifications will be beneficial to your organization’s success.”
