Feeling Stuck? Here's What You Can Do
Have you been feeling stuck lately? Does it feel like you’ve been trying and trying to improve your life but nothing changes? Whether it’s your job or your personal life, you can’t help but feel frustrated over the situation you can’t resolve?
Everyone goes through this at one point in their lives. Feeling stuck is never a good feeling. I get that.
I want you to say this out loud: “I can change my situation. I am not really stuck, I’m just wasting my energy on the wrong things.”
Truth is, often times when people say they’re feeling stuck they’re usually just wasting time chasing goals that are not in alignment with their desires. This feeling of “stuckness” is just an indication that something needs to change in your life. If you were to take a deeper look at the problem, isolate yourself for some time, you would find the real issue is the of the ideal life that you created and how far you are from achieving that dream.
Starting to make sense?
The real solution is to distance yourself from the problem so that you can get a better perspective on things. What will make you happy? Are you chasing things that are in alignment with your goals? Could it be that you no longer desire the goals you set before? Are you chasing an unrealistic goal? At the end, you’ll find you’ll either have to change the things you’re currently doing now to get to your big picture or simply change the bigger picture to something realistic and more attainable. You are in control. This is your life.
Here are a few things to remember.
Feeling stuck is a sign that it’s time to make a change. See change as a positive thing and something that will make you happier.
Even the tiniest possible step is progress. Wake up each day and set small goals that will take you closer to your bigger picture.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward. Just move. Take the tiny steps.
Nothing changes if nothing changes. You can't expect change if you're not willing to change.
Believe what your heart tells you, not what others say.
