What To Do In Isla Roatan Port

Isla Roatan was the second stop on the 7 days Western Caribbean Cruise.  There wasn't much to do at in this country but I still enjoyed myself.   If you love alcohol and want to take a bottle or two home, this is the port to be.  You will find some really good discounts here. There is even a station where you can taste a variety of alcohols before purchasing.

A safety advisory was given for Honduras that urged us to stay in port and not to venture outside of the port on our own because of the crime rate. Also, we were advised to wear long sleeve shirts and wear repellent to minimize the risk of getting any mosquito-borne illnesses.

They had a nature trail that we took advantage of. It was quiet and relaxing and the views were beautiful. If you love capturing beautiful sceneries the nature trail is a must.  We spent the day at Mohagany Beach in Isla Roatan. There was no fee to enter and the beach chairs were free too. There was a restaurant on the beach so if you needed food or something to drink you didn't need to go far. The water was uncomfortably cold and had a dark colour which is very different from the beaches back home in Jamaica that's usually a light blue colour.

Overall it was a very relaxing day.
