1.    Tell us more about yourself.
 
Michellae: My name is Michellae Walker and I'm 21 years old.Also, I'm a St. Andrew High School Old Girl & i'm currently in my 3rd year at The University of The West Indies pursuing my bachelors degree in Management studies.
 
 
2.    How did you get into your skill? 
 
Michellae: Well, i just decided in 5th form that i would try to make myself more marketable by learning new skills. I had a long list but crocheting was just a skill that blossomed rapidly. I continued to teach myself via youtube and now here i am today after years of practicing. 

3.    How do you promote yourself?
 
Michellae: [ If by myself, you mean my business] 90% of my promotion and advertising is done through social media, posters and word of mouth.

5.    Do you have any upcoming projects?

Michellae: Yes, currently i am working on my new Swimwear Collection which is to be released in June. Its called The Dessert Collection and will feature a variety of extravagant crocheted beachwear and loungewear.

 
6.    What is your philosophy in life?

Michellae: Well, funny to say, I've realized that my philosophy changes with time because everyday you learn something new that can brighten your perspective and as such sometimes over powers the philosophy you went by before. But right now, my philosophy is that its all about balance and doing things when they are supposed to be done and when the time is right.
 
7.    In your opinion what do you think are the keys to success?
 
Michellae:

8.    What made you start your business?

Michellae: Well, simply because people kept asking me to make things for them when they saw the stuff i made for my friend. Then i just said " Well, I'm not sure how far this will go but i am gonna start a business "

9.    What blogs and websites do you follow and why?

Michellae: I follow mainly artisan blogs, entrepreneurial websites and page of other businesses. The reason is because ,personally , i know how hard it can be sometimes to decide that you want to start your own business or just to try and make a living from doing something that you love. I love to see other person's journey and growth in business and I'm really intrigued by the mental capacity to create a product or provide a service that persons perceive to be valuable so those are the main reasons.
