Happy International Women's Day: The Women Who Inspire Me
Screaming Happy International Women's Day to all the women in the world. This day is all about elevating each other, giving the voices of ladies a chance to be heard, celebrating being a lady and striving for progress in gender equality. In celebration of such an iconic day, I decided to write this post to share with you the women who inspire me every single day.
My Mother
My mother remains is one of the most inspiring women in my life. I admire her strength and drive. She achieved everything she has with hard work and commitment. She taught me from very early to be independent and to only chase the things I really want in life.
Emmelie De La Cruz
I met Emmelie A year ago when she hired me to work on a few projects with her. I remember checking out her website and just falling in love with her web design and how well she presented her content on her blog. It then prompted me to follow her social media and that's where the inspiration started. Her Instagram lives, blog posts and Instagram feed definitely motivates me on a daily basis to get up and get it and a young female entrepreneur. She always sharing some good tips on building your brand and turning your passions into profit. She's feminine yet strong-willed, always about her coins but wants to see you win.
Shonda Rhimes
I hope that I can meet this woman one day but for now, she is one of the women who inspire me. Born January 13, 1970, she is an American writer and producer who was best known for creating the popular TV series Grey’s Anatomy, How To Get Away With Murder and Scandal, my three favourite series. She has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards, and in 2007 she won a Golden Globe for her work on Grey's Anatomy.
Favourite Shonda Rhimes Quote: “I am not lucky. You know what I am? I am smart, I am talented, I take advantage of the opportunities that come my way and I work really, really hard. Don’t call me lucky. Call me a badass.”
Nichole Lynel
When I think fashion I think Nichole Lynel. Her Instagram is filled with her amazing outfits from her fashion line and inspiration for all the aspiring girl bosses.
